APP-V 5 Management Servers Can't Interact With DataBase (Login Failed) Posted: 08 Dec 2012 10:21 AM PST Hello, I have a APP-V 5 environment in which I cannot get the Management Server to communicate with the DB Server. When I log into the Management Server web portal, I get a red banner across the web page that reads There were problems interacting with the database on the server. The error was: Login failed for user 'LABENV\MSERVER1$'. The management server is on Windows Server 2012 (as is everything). I have tried against a SQL2008 and SQL2012 server, and get the same error. The APPV DBs have installed fine on the DB servers. BTW 'MSERVER1' is the management server name, not a user name..... Is it trying to login with a machine name and not a user name? Could that be the issue? This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |

As always, you should check the Readme documentation for details, but [...] |
