App-v There is not enough space in the Application Virtualization cache

Posted: 06 Jul 2012 04:29 AM PDT

HI Guys,

I have a question about App-v. What is the best solution to use the application virtualization client on the server it self.
The app-v Verion number:4.6.1.20870 on Windows 2008 R2 with Xenapp 6.5

I have set the folowwing options on the stetings of the application virtualization client:
Global Data Directory: D:\App-V  (capacity: 20 GB + pagefile)

File system:
Use free disk space threshold
Minimum free space : 7500 (I am not using the Use maximum cache size)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\SoftGrid\4.5\Client\AppFS\
UnloadLeastRecentlyUsed: 1
MinFreeSpaceMB: 7500 (decimaal)
FileSize:12746

Some couple users get the followin message:
"The Application Virtualization Client could not launch <application name>.
There is not enough space in the Application Virtualization cache. Report the following error code to your System Administrator.
Error code: 4615186-16D1160A-0000E029″

How Can I resolve this isseu and what is the best way to use it. Does anbody know...

Kind regard<
Hakan
