How do Network Machines access Packages added to App-V Management Server? Posted: 17 Jul 2012 02:46 AM PDT I have setup App-V Management Server on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box, sequenced a package and added it in. Remote Desktop Services > Session Host is installed on the server. What steps do I have to take for network machines to access the package on the Server? I am a complete beginner with App-V, but I know the setup must be where the App-V package is run from the server. I have not installed any App-V client software yet, not sure where to find the Desktop client. DOHMAN2011 This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now | |||||||

Posted: 16 Jul 2012 02:57 PM PDT Today Hilton Romanski, Cisco VP of corporate development, announced, through a blog post, the acquisition of Virtuata Inc. a private held company located in Silicon Valley and specialized in virtual machine security. As companies move toward virtualized or cloud solutions, the security of virtual machines, deployed locally or through multiple datacenters or infrastructures, grows in importance. Cisco, following the example of several startups in the market, acquires, with Virtuata, the competence needed to complete his offering.
