Sequenced QuickBooks, not seeing Office 2010

Posted: 23 Aug 2012 02:43 PM PDT

Hello, I have Sequenced a number of QuickBooks applications successfully, however, I am unable to get QuickBooks to recognize Office. I have added Office as a dependency to QB, but when attempt try to use an excel link it fails to open. When I try to set the email account, there is no option for that. However, if I use a script to open Office in a locally installed QB, it works. However, we are getting away from locally installed apps on the server.

Here is my osd file (disregard the error in the Year, I will fix that later)

Shouldn't I see Office open in the sftlog file.

Embotics, the canadian company of virtualization and cloud management founded 2006, announced yesterday august 22, the new release of  its V-Commander, version 4.6, for delivering IT as a service (ITaaS) for both private and public clouds.

Embotics Corporation aims to provide a simplified solutions and their cloud management platform V-Commander allows end users to optimize and automate their data centers, the focus of the software is to transform the management of virtual machines individually to managing the whole range of IT services, IT administrators would be able to control both virtual and non-virtual IT assets.

The main addition is the going from an Infrasturcture as a service (IaaS) to an IT as a service (ITaaS) which would extend to a wider rage of clients that are not completely tech-savy, as the service would be more user friendly.

Embotics will have a demonstration of new V-Commander with a preview of Microsoft Hyper-V support at the VMWorld.

Jay Litkey, CEO of Embotics express his view on the new release:

Embotics V-Commander allows end users to provision at the service level, which lets IT staff step back despite growing management demands. app-v server locations

Posted: 23 Aug 2012 06:37 AM PDT

Hi

i am going to deploy App-V 4.6 with SCCM integration.  I will be deploying the SCCM 2012 primary site at a data center location.  Our link from our main office to this data center is 400MB.  Should I deploy App-V servers local to the users in the main office or in the data center?  We will be using the streaming functionality

Thanks!
