Hi All,

I am glad to know that office applications can now be launched with the beta2 version of the APP-V 5.0. I have successfully tested it in my Lab environment and we want to move it to our production environment.

The biggest hindrance is the migration of the OUTLOOK 2010 to OUTLOOK 2013. In normal case, we need to configure OUTLOOK with OFFICE 2013.

But what we want is the OUTLOOK should migrate but we don't need to re-configure it. The migration should also migrate the PST files or some other files so we don't need to configure it again when migrated to OUTLOOK 2013.

I just want to know is there any way to do so. How the scenario can be accomplished? I am not able to find any article related to the same.

can we use the Msi file to setup the sequenced applications in SCCM?. we normaly use the XML file to setup the application in SCCM. What about the MSI? Will it cause any installation failure?

Server Refresh on App-v client generates internal error

hi,

Virtualized applications were working correctly in our Pre prod environment.

last week we see that applications are not launching correctly, I tried to delete all apps from client and then when i refresh the server, i am getting this error.

"The application Virtualization Server has returned an internal system error. Report the following error code to your system Administrator"

4505cd-1690150A-200001F4

1) Able to point the client to other softgrid servers.

2) verified client can ping to server.

3) access on the content folder also seems to be correct.

Environment:

Server 2003 Sp2 ( server & client )

Server - Softgrid Virtual Application server v 4.1.2.20 (RTM)

Client - Microsoft Application Virtualization Terminal services client v4.5.0.1485

Any idea on this error.
