APP V 5 How to add arguments to shortcut Posted: 06 Dec 2012 09:28 AM PST Hi, I need to pass arguments to a shortcut. I added the arguments between the arguments tags for that shortcut in the user configuration xml and applied it through powershell using "Publish-AppVClientPackage $pkg –DynamicUserConfigurationPath c:\Packages\Contoso\config.xml ", this worked for the logged in user. Then I did the same for the Deployment configuration xml using the "Add-AppVClientPackage –Path c:\Packages\Contoso\MyApp.appv -DynamicDeploymentConfiguration c:\Packages\Contoso\DynamicConfigurations\deploymentconfig.xml" command. and this worked for the machine on which the powershell cmdlet was run. How can I make it work for all the users who use the package? Can I pass arguments using the Edit shortcut on the management console? Thanks for any help. --Sushma. Reg : arbortext application launching with an error Posted: 06 Dec 2012 05:24 AM PST Hi, I have sequenced the Arbortext application(version M080) successfully using App V 4.6 SP1. But when I tried to deploy the application in App-V Client using standalone deployment, the application shortcut launches with the warning. This warning is not getting displayed while launching the shortcut(arbortext Editor 5.4) during first use tasks and streaming phase of the sequencer. Below is the screenshot of the warning being displayed while deploying in App V Client. Immediate solution would be greately helpful for me Thanks in advance, Avkbros This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
