Publishing server doesn't work - error "The request URL doesn't contain the query string for the client OS"

Posted: 13 Dec 2012 06:34 AM PST

Hello,

I am having the same problem like in this thread http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/appvserverandmanagement/thread/adb8f74b-b528-4f40-8813-39edc94e72c0 .

My Environment is Win 2008R2 Sp1, SQL 2008 R2 SP2. Management Website and publishing Server are both on the same box.

My AppV Clients dont get any PublishingServer Information and in my Server Error log i get the Error "The request URL doesn't contain the query string for the client OS". I followed this guide http://blogs.technet.com/b/appv/archive/2012/05/22/walking-through-the-app-v-5-0-beta-server-setup-part-1.aspx to install . And tried to troubleshoot using this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2778168.

Did someone maybe solved this problem.
