Posted: 18 Dec 2012 08:18 AM PST Scripting has changed in App-V 5.0. The scripts move from the OSD to the new "Dynamic Configuration Files", and very different options are now available to us to customize actions at the client. Posted: 18 Dec 2012 04:12 AM PST Not sure if this is right place to post this. Does anybody know how UE-V integrates with APP-V and creating of Settings templates for use with APP-V user settings? We are currently evaluating, I know that generating templates using UE-V generator is not supported but have not seen anything indicating the actual sync of APP-V user settings is not supported. I have attempted to create a template manually and validated but it did not appear to run for a APP-V 4.6 app. Curious to understand what needs to be configured in terms of application launcher & command params within the UE-V template. For info we are running SCCM 2007 R2 SP2 with APP-V integration. APP-V packages fully deployed in machine context from here (No streaming) Also have a couple of converted APP-V 5 apps imported manually to Windows 8 PC I have a standard app synching (7zip) no problem Regards Dave This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
