Posted: 19 Jun 2012 11:26 AM PDT Just installed sccm 2012, which is great! now I m quite interested in app-v in offline mode Now I ve noticed things get put in c:\users .pkg Now if we had 100 students on the same PC open up APP V office 2010 (over time) will it make a large .pkg in each of their user profiles? I m just worried APP V offline mode will take up alot of space compared to a normal MSI install in program files This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |

Posted: 19 Jun 2012 10:00 AM PDT I know that the client opens the files locally in it's cache but can this be changed such that the files are opened from another location, possibly at the data center instead of caching them locally? If not, does MS plan to make this an option in future releases? This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
