Posted: 24 Oct 2012 09:43 PM PDT Hi, Just a quick question Users start mentioning that some apps launches quicker than the others, my appv setup is equipped with preload script example1> adobe reader and office 2010 packages are all launching(launched) within 7 seconds example2> dymo label printer and 3M core grouping software takes much longer to launch - upto 17 seconds One thing I notice was that within the logon session, the subsequent package launch process speeds up - this applies for example 2. however once the user logs off/on, launching speed goes back to slow(17seconds) - this applies for example 2 For example1 though, launching speed always quick regardless of log off/on as long as it has launched on the client machine for the first time - meaning any subsequent launching is quick Can someone explain this behaviour? please

Access is denied 46175B3-00000729-00000005 Posted: 24 Oct 2012 07:56 AM PDT Hi we're using App-V 4.6 SP1 in a Windows 7 VDI Environment. for some very weird reason one of the users (only one!) gets this error on most of the virtual applications: Access is denied 46175B3-00000729-00000005 in the sftlog.txt it says: [10/24/2012 14:26:57:716 JGSW ERR] {hap=120:app=Desktop Intelligence 12.753:tid=1EFC:usr=uc031} all the applications I can't access are deployed to Domain Users! obviously the user is there... we have 3 appv servers. doesn't matter on which I try to set the client - I get the same error message I made sure I have permissions to read and execute files from \\appvsrv\content\[package] I deleted one of the packages from the appvserver and redeployed it I deleted all the packages from the client with admin rights and refreshed the server to get them again - still same error on the same computer if I run the application with a different user I can open the packages the internet have nothing about this error message! :/ please help! :( thanks Tamir Levy This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now | |||||||
