How Do You Catch a Cloud and Pin It Down? Posted: 17 Oct 2012 04:49 PM PDT Sorry, much like Family Guy, I can't resist a good Sound of Music reference. Now if only I could figure out how to incorporate "flibbertijibbet" into this blog… Anyway, even if you're not singing from a hilltop, I'm sure you've asked yourself that very question or at least something along those lines. How can you ensure your move to the cloud doesn't require a leap…
App-V streamed Apps don't get the date format Posted: 17 Oct 2012 05:00 PM PDT Hi all, To test this, I went ahead and installed it locally on a test VM, and sure thing it takes whatever you configure on the system including the date format. In the other hand this is not happening with the app-v package of this application even though I have the local interaction set to TRUE but it's still not picking up on what's configured on the local system it's running. I even tried rebooting the server to see if that helps the app picks up the configured date format, but that didn't help, and no matter what I change the date format on the system, the streamed app holds on whatever format it has. It's not even keeping the date format of the machine it was sequenced on. Any ideas on how to get this working right now allow the streamed app to take the time of the system it's running on? Any comments are appreciated. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now
