Migrate DB on App-V 5.0 Server Posted: 29 Jan 2013 03:13 AM PST Hi all the posts and the technet information on migrating App-V DB from one SQL to another is about App-V 4.x. I couldn't find any information about doing the same on App-V 5.0. 1. I backed up the current DB (which was on a local SQL) 2. restored the DB on the new SQL and modify the permissions 3. change the SQL registry settings on the AppV Server 4. I couldn't find any .udl file in the Program files folder as in App-V 4.x server though I'm not sure it's the problem after I restarted the server and try to open the web console I got the error: There were problems interacting with the database on the server. the error was: Login failed for user Domain\ServerAccount$ any info someone can help me with? thanks Tamir Levy This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
